Sustainable Design

Our Design, Interior Design and Structures teams produce efficient designs that lower the carbon footprint. Every project is designed to maximise the efficiency of the built environment and provide a biodiverse landscaping solution that enhances air and the quality of life in our developments.

As a responsible Community Housing Partners, our team monitors whole life carbon and includes quarterly reviews of carbon usage on our projects. Our materials, where possible, are from sustainable sources and we ensure that no deleterious materials are used on our schemes.

Ash and Green looks to be a leader in environmental sustainability, with many of our projects being located on the Grey Belt it is key that we add to the natural biodiversity of the area. This is one of our key focuses during the planning process and we actively work with local environmental groups to ensure that quality, sustainability and biodiversity meet the highest possible standards.

 

Sustainable Energy

All of our properties come with Solar Panelling Systems. This not only reduces our carbon footprint, but makes the utilities on our projects more affordable.

The recent advances in Solar Technology allows solar power to be far more efficient. We believe that utilising the right technology not only makes for an environmentally friendly scheme, but also a more affordable utilities setting for our residents in the long term.

 

Sustainable Communities

Ash and Green specialises in mid to low density affordable developments. We believe that lower density, with more light in dwellings and open play areas lead to a stronger sense of community.

We target partnerships with local authorities where projects with schools, GP’s, local shops and local transport upgrades are all integrated in the master plan design. Our team of project managers have handled every type of development, our team of designers ensure quality from the start and our quality control team ensures quality at the end.  We are a full service delivery unit prepared to take on the complexities of multi-use schemes.
